All electronics are delivered to Illinois Stewardship Alliance certified collectors. Data destruction is recommended for computers and phones - we recommend a factory reset before we pick up.

Electronics removal is a labor and truck fee starting at $450 (it depends on the distance and location of the job), plus a flat junk fee per item:

  • Computer monitor or small printer: $50
  • Flat-screen TV under 55 in: $75
  • Flat-screen TV 55 in and up: $100
  • Desktop towers, CRT TVs, and other electronics: quoted individually

Stairs, long carries and building access can affect the labor fee, and we confirm the full price before we start.

Do you take CRT (tube) TVs and old monitors?

Yes. CRT TVs and CRT monitors are quoted individually, since CRT tubes contain lead and have to go through a specific e-waste recycler under Illinois e-waste rules. Don't put a CRT in regular trash; it's illegal in Illinois.

What happens to data on my old computer, laptop, or hard drive?

We strongly recommend you wipe data before pickup. We are not a certified data-destruction service. For business cleanouts or sensitive personal devices, use a wipe tool (DBAN, manufacturer reset) before booking. For destruction-certified handling, we can refer you to a Chicago partner.

Are large flat-screen TVs accepted at the same rate as smaller ones?

No. Flat-screen TVs under 55 in are a flat $75 junk fee, and flat-screens 55 in and up are $100, plus the labor and truck fee starting at $450. Large flat-screens are more awkward to carry, and the crew uses padding to protect walls and doors on the way out.

Do you take e-waste in bulk from a business?

Yes - bulk office e-waste removal is a standard commercial job. Monitors and small printers are a flat $50 each; bulk loads are quoted from photos or on site. Common items: monitors, towers, laptops, printers, networking gear, phones. We route to certified Illinois e-waste recyclers.
