The Hardest Items to Move Out
Home gym equipment is notoriously difficult to remove. Treadmills can weigh 200-300 lbs. Ellipticals are oddly shaped and won’t fit through doorways without tilting. Multi-station weight machines may need to be partially disassembled.
Our crew handles exercise equipment removal regularly and knows how to navigate tight Chicago apartments and stairwells without damaging walls or floors.
Equipment We Remove
- Treadmills (all brands and sizes)
- Elliptical trainers and cross-trainers
- Stationary bikes and spin bikes
- Rowing machines
- Multi-station home gyms
- Free weights and weight racks
- Adjustable dumbbells
- Pull-up stations and wall-mount equipment
- Resistance machine stacks
- Peloton bikes and other connected fitness equipment
Do You Disassemble?
We’ll do basic disassembly (removing handlebars, folding mechanisms, etc.) if needed to get the item through a doorway or around a corner. We don’t do complex structural disassembly. If an item requires tools to break down, let us know when booking and we’ll advise.
Exercise Equipment Removal Pricing
Exercise equipment removal is a labor and truck fee starting at $450 (it depends on the distance and location of the job), plus a flat junk fee per item:
- Treadmill: $150
- Ellipticals, stationary bikes, weight racks, and multi-station home gyms: quoted individually
Stairs, long carries and building access can affect the labor fee, and we confirm the full price before we start.
